Résumé
Cet article décrit et analyse le processus de création sémantique de mots dans les romans africains d’expression française. L’étude se focalise sur les lexies des français littéraires d’Afrique provenant du français central, mais ayant subi des modifications de sens ou de forme et aux lexies des français d’Afrique empruntées aux langues africaines autochtones.

Abstract
This article describes and analyses the process whereby words are semantically coined in francophone African novels. This study focuses on words from the literary varieties of African French that are also attested in standard French, but that have undergone semantic or morphological changes. It is also interested in words or phrases from the different varieties of African French that are borrowed from the autochtonous languages of Africa.
