Résumé
La linguistique a permis des progrès importants dans l’étude du langage. Mais l’approche immanente a conduit la recherche dans une impasse. La découverte de la subjectivité dans le langage a puissamment contribué à l’abandon de la perspective immanente au profit d’une conception qui considère le langage comme un système déterminé par ses conditions de production. Cette hypothèse, qui implique une approche interdisciplinaire, est devenue le moteur de la mutation des sciences du langage. On lui doit, entre autres, la naissance de l’analyse du discours ainsi que les recherches pour une linguistique du discours.

abstract
The linguistics permitted important progress in the study of the language. But the immanent approach led the research in an impasse. The discovery of the subjectivity in the language contributed powerfully to the abandonment of the immanent perspective for the benefit of a conception which considers the language as a system determined by its conditions of production. This hypothesis, which implies an interdisciplinary approach, became the engine of the mutation of the sciences language. One has to it, among others, the birth of the analysis of speech as well as the researches for linguistics of speech.
